Wednesday Word: Brett Dillon!

First off, we just wrapped up a great 2015 Shiner Sunday season. Thanks to all of you! I’m excited about the Courtyard Theater in Plano hosting Rodney Crowell Thursday November 5th as we wrap up the Courtyard Texas Music Series for this season as well. Here are a few records I can’t get out of my player:

•  Max Stalling’s new album “Banquet” is pure greatness! His CD release party will be Friday, October 23rd at Love and War in Grapevine
•  “Reveille” by the Chubby Knuckle Choir – check them out live, because they’re amazing
•  Bill Small’s (one of Walt Wilkins’ Mystiqueros) new record “Call Me Lucky”
•  I just rediscovered this one from 2009 – produced by Dave Alvin – “Man of Somebody’s Dreams” is a tribute to Chris Gaffney, it’s amazing!
