Written by Chuck Taylor on May 23, 2025
Flatland Cavalry is a country and Americana band hailing from Lubbock, Texas. Formed in 2012 by vocalist and guitarist Cleto Cordero and drummer Jason Albers, the band later expanded to include bassist Jonathan Saenz, guitarist Reid Dillon, fiddle player Wesley Hall, and multi-instrumentalist Adam Gallegos.
Known for their blend of country, folk, and Americana, Flatland Cavalry has released several acclaimed albums, including Humble Folks (2016), Homeland Insecurity (2019), and Welcome to Countryland (2021) . Their latest release, Flatland Forever, is a 25-track compilation celebrating the band’s 10-year journey, featuring fan favorites and new material.
The band is currently on their “Flatland Forever Tour,” with upcoming performances including our very own Texas Music Revolution! Their sound weaves together raw storytelling, West Texas charm, and a modern edge that’s made them one of the most compelling acts to emerge from the Texas music scene.
We are so excited to have Flatland Cavalry headlining at the 29th Annual Texas Music Revolution. Make sure to go check them out June 7th @ The Burress Injury Law Main Stage @ 9 pm!!
