I’m excited to be gearing up for the 11th annual Texas Music Showdown Sponsored by Forty Creek Whisky, Skyy Vodka and Epsolon Tequila! Over the past 3 years, the winners of the TMS have gone on to win the Shiner Rising Star which, in turn, earned them an automatic spot in our annual Texas Music Revolution! Those bands are:

2013 – Green Light Pistol

There are still a few spots left in the 11th Annual Texas Music Showdown at the White Elephant Saloon hosted by Brett Dillon! 7 Weeks, 12 Bands on Wednesdays with the first round starting February 17th. Just some of the great prizes to the winner are:

1. Recording time from WarRoom Studios in Sherman, TX (3 songs)
2. Personal guests of Donnie Nelson in the Presidential Suite of the Mesquite Championship Rodeo – One evening – July 2 through October 1, 2016
3. Automatic entry into the Shiner Rising Star Contest (No need to audition)
4. Personal guests of the owner of the Texas Legends, Donnie Nelson, at a Texas Legends game with an opportunity to sing the National Anthem
5. The winner can come on “The Brett Dillon Experience” on KHYI 95.3 The Range (OFFICIAL)for an interview and play a song on the air
6. An opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the new Cleburne Railroaders baseball game owned by Randy Rogers (2017 season)
7. More prizes to be announced upon confirmation
