We’ve got a few questions for Chuck about his favorite artist right now!
1. Who is your favorite artist RIGHT NOW? Sturgill Simpson2. How did you discover him? I was sent the High Top Mountain CD by a promoter before it was released to the public in June of 2013…Fell in love with the music and we immediately started playing Railroad of Sin… KHYI was the first station in DFW to recognize the genius of his music!
3. What tracks would you recommend (or album)? Everything on High Top Mountain and Meta Modern Sounds in Country Music…You can’t go wrong with anything Sturgill has done.
4. Have you seen him live yet (or have plans to soon)? Hell to the yeah I have! Even got to hang out on the bus with him.
