TMR 19 Band Bio: Buffalo Ruckus

Written by on March 16, 2015

The Buffalo Ruckus is a compendium of roots, Americana, southern soul, psychedelic postmodern avante-garde experimental country-fried rock. Spun from the timbers of heart and soul, the Ruckus took its first musical breath in the early days of 2013. In a short amount of time, the band has spread its musical wings and taken its heavy soul-fueled sound throughout the south. The band had the good fortune to perform at Billy Bob’s, at the 2014 Larry Joe Taylor Festival, open for Foghat, Cheap Trick, and Joan Jett at the 2014 Wildflower Festival, and share the stage with many other respected Texas artists. Boot-stomping rhythms, howling vocals, and spear-in-the-back guitar leads their overall objective: Spread the Ruckus.

They won our 2014 Shiner Rising Star competition, so you know you’re gonna love ’em! Come find out what the Ruckus is all about at TMR 19, Saturday, March 21st at Southfork Ranch!
