Bonnie & Clyde Days

Written by on October 10, 2013

Join us on the historic Pilot Point town square, as we celebrate the 4th annual Bonnie & Clyde Days!  Pilot Point, Texas was the location of the filming of the famous “bank robbery scene” in the 1968 movie “Bonnie and Clyde” starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.  Additionally, Pilot Point (and neighboring towns and counties) was actually the stomping-grounds of Bonnie and Clyde and their cohorts, as well as other well-known outlaws (the James Gang, the Younger Brothers, Quantrill’s Raiders and others).  The Festival is hosted by Pilot Point’s Main Street Program.   Our very own Allan Peck and Big Gus will be broadcasting live from 3-5pm.  There will be a pumpkin patch, bounce houses, exotic animals, face painting, and more for the kids, as well as a Bonnie & Clyde reenactment at noon, a pie eating contest, and live music!

The music lineup is as follows:
10:30 AM – 2 Far North
11:30 AM – Ryan Ready
12:30 PM – Raymond James
1:30 PM – Deanie & James with The James Dean Texas Project
2:30 PM – Teresa Arnold
3:30 PM – Shannon Choate
4:30 PM – Robin Hackett
5:30 PM – Brian Houser (Beerman)
