·         New York City’s JD & The Straight Shot’s latest album, Where I’ve Been, was produced by Joe Walsh and launched on iTunes in September

·         The album features several breakthrough singles including “Governor’s Blues,” which challenges some of today’s most well-known political figures as well as “Under That Hood,” a transformative single that tells the tragic story of Trayvon Martin.

·         The song “Hard to Find,” will be featured in the highly-anticipated film, St. Vincent, starring Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy and the song “Violet’s Song” is featured on the soundtrack for the film August: Osage County.  Their music has been featured in many films, including the critically acclaimed Hurricane Season and the song “Can’t Make Tears” is the theme song for AMC’s TV show Hell on Wheels.

·         The group has toured with the Eagles on several tours, including the current “History of the Eagles” tour, “Summer 2010” tour, and the band’s stadium tour with Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban.

·         They’ve been featured on The Today Show and Good Day New York as well as in The New York Times, NY Post, Billboard and New York Magazine.
