Band Bio:
Andrew Delaney is a classic storyteller who depicts the American landscape-from the grittiness of the Old West to the uncertainties of contemporary relationships-in a warts-and-all cinematic style. His ability to “craft creaky, wooden yarns that stir your insides” and deliver them with “conviction” and “authenticity” (Dallas Observer) has earned him growing acclaim; Rich Warren of WFMT Radio, Chicago, called him “The Alfred Hitchcock of singer/songwriters.”

Dallas-based Andrew Delaney & The Horse You Rode In On were established in 2008 as a live vehicle for Delaney’s writing. The band has featured a rotating cast of stellar musicians and has shared stages with Americana greats like Hayes Carll, Corb Lund, Junior Brown, Walt Wilkins, and many others.

Come check out Andrew Delaney & the Horse You Rode In On this Thursday night in Round 1, Week 4 of the 2014 Shiner Rising Star Competition! This week is at Love & War in Texas (Grapevine), 8-10pm.
